Polyfin Canggih can produce up to 240 tons of polyester chips or yarn in one day - the largest design capacity for a single plant in Indonesia.
Over 5 big reactors and 20 vessels are utilized in a continuous polycondensation process supported by infrastructure in the form of auxiliary plants delivering compressed air, soft and demineralised water, refrigeration, nitrogen, and power among others.
The entire facility incorporates the very latest technology from the world leader in design and chemical engineering, Lurgi Zimmer AG of Germany.
The plant has thousand of microprocessors throughout the chip and yarn production areas. All of them are linked to a master control room facility, which allows scrutiny of all processes through several screen levels of detail.
